When we are at the supermarket, a cafeteria, a cafe, in a restaurant, or any other place where we eat or get food to eat later, we make choices about that food. Traditionally, we have counted calories, looked at fat and sugar content, whether there is a lot of salt, and so forth. What we are doing is applying tests to the food. Today, I have an alternative test, or an extra test, if you prefer: The level of processing of the food. That one factor can tell us a lot about the food and help us make better choices. This is our choice today, when we go Beyond The Norm!
