I am a big fan of consumer protection (note we have Jamie Court of Consumer Watchdog on each week) and with the government now in the hands of big business, it doesn’t look like government is going to protect us from defective products and the like for some time. Thus, we need to rely, again, on the consumer lawyers and each other! To that end, I found an interesting article from CBS News, about “certified used cars” with safety defects, and went from there! Today, when we go Beyond The Norm, certified used cars – is there a legal definition – and what does it mean? Can we rely on the designation?
