A law firm recently filed a lawsuit in state court, alleging that a popular beverage is being marketed deceptively. The claim of ‘100% natural’ is false, or so says the class action case. The allegations include that a cockroach insecticide is in the beverage, as well as other ingredients listed as “synthetic” by the Food and Drug Administration. How can a synthetic ingredient be natural – or so goes the claim.
